Rívesci launched in September 2019 as a food truck offering cooked from scratch dishes by Michelin Star trained Chef, Declan Malone and his wife Shannon Forrest. In March 2020 they completely changed their business to focus on their condiments which had been accepted on to Supervalu Food Academy. Starting out with just two shops they now supply over 100 local cafes, butchers and artisan stores along with a handful of Supervalu stores across the country. Their two main products are already Great Taste Award winners with their Cashew Chilli Crush attaining the highly coveted 3 Stars in 2020 and most recently their Red Onion Marmalade with Spiced Port attaining 1 Star in 2021. They have also been awarded Best in Ireland 2021 by McKenna’s Guides and are part of Tipperary Food Producers Network and Tipperary Tourism 2021.
Shannon and Declan have grown their business from their home kitchen in rural Tipperary to now securing a commercial kitchen where it will help to further develop their business and to focus on e-commerce and exports in the coming months along with growing their team.
